Most of the straight forward editing work is done. I’m now taking baby steps through After Effects. I’m the ASM on a show with Single Carrot Theatre (Assitant Stage Manager for you non theatre folks) so many of my hours are commited to that as well as a pay-the-bills job hunt. However, anything I can call freetime is spent on the Fairy Dust edit. It means this website isn’t in the best shape, but there will be plenty of time for clean up once I actually have the edit done.
However, it has been fun figuring out the logistics of light rays, burst, and blast (for my purposes at least) in After Effects. I was a little rusty, but I’m warming up faster and faster.
